Lauren McGibbon is an actor, writer, comedian, improvisor and instructor who was born, raised and is still a resident of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Lauren has close to two decades of live improv comedy performance. She was a Mainstage player at Granville Islands’s Vancouver Theatresports from 2010 to 2020.
Since 2020, she has been an ensemble member of THE COMEDY DEPARTMENT (click the live shows link to book your tickets to see her on a Saturday Night!).
In addition, she’s toured performing improv throughout North American and European cities and on many modes of transportation (including a Canadian train car considered a historical monument and multiple Princess Cruises cruise ships).

Her film and TV credits include Scaredy Cats (Netflix), A Series of Unfortunate Events (Netflix) and
Trial & Error (NBC).
Emilio Salituro represents her at Lucas Talent MGMT.

As an instructor, Lauren teaches improv, voice for actors, on-camera technique and scene study. She has worked at Vancouver Film School and Tricities Film Studio.

She is currently in production on several indie projects she is writing and producing and can’t wait to share all the exciting news with you throughout 2026!
