Ready to get out of your head and onto the stage? Whether you are a seasoned performer looking to sharpen your instincts or a complete beginner wanting to build unshakeable confidence, this high-energy, 6-week masterclass is designed for you.
Led by veteran actor and improviser Lauren McGibbon (Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, NBC’s Trial & Error), this series strips away the overthinking and focuses on the core mechanics of fearless, grounded, and genuinely hilarious unscripted comedy.
Over six dynamic Monday nights, you will master the essential pillars of the craft:
Week 1 (Oct 5): It’s All About the Basics – Demystifying the foundations of yes-and.
Week 2 (Oct 12): The Pillars of Comedy – Finding the game, the rhythm, and the funny.
Week 3 (Oct 19): Start Committed and Confident – Bypassing hesitation to make bold first choices.
Week 4 (Oct 26): Creating Honest, Connected Characters – Stepping beyond jokes into real emotional depth.
Week 5 (Nov 2): Story to Keep the Scene in the Air – Structuring dynamic, long-form narratives on the fly.
Week 6 (Nov 9): The Ending! Of Scenes and Class – Mastering stick-the-landing closures with impact.

Price: $45.00 drop-in rate per class | $225.00 upfront package for all 6 weeks (Guarantees your permanent spot!)

From non-union commercials to a lead on a new pilot, Lauren is here to work the scene in a way that excites the actor while staying true to the tone and text of the script that makes a lasting impression on casting & production.
ONLINE COACHING
Lauren will set up an online meeting room for you
and her to work.
For an additional $10.00 fee, Lauren can edit and label your files per casting’s request.
Price: $60.0/hour, 30- minute minimum.
HOME DELIVERY
HAVE LOVE OF ACTING! WILL TRAVEL!
One of those weeks? Take the stress off. Lauren will come to your house and work with you. You don’t even need a setup! She’ll bring everything you need. For an additional $10.00 fee, Lauren can edit and label your files per casting's request.

As a trained singer and actor, Lauren can help you get ready to speak in public with clarity, confidence and calm. Whether you’re preparing for a presentation at work or your upcoming maid of honour speech, Lauren can’t wait to help you get in tune with your unique voice and teach you supportive techniques to speak the text it with lasting impact.

PRIVATE ACTING LESSONS
Lauren always recommends learning acting in a group setting! It’s a collaborative form by nature and training with other actors is essential. However, there are times when privacy is needed. Perhaps you book that big role of your dreams and want to run the scenes and lines? Or it’s a vulnerable piece that you’d like support navigating one -on-one. Reach out any time to work with Lauren.
